Singalong Messiah

This afternoon lemur_catta, purplesofa and I joined Herr Handel and 2000 others for the annual Singalong Messiah at Massey Hall. purplesofa had gallantly volunteered to sing tenor with me but, as always, the tenors were outnumbered 20:1 by the massed ranks of sopranos. To make matters worse, we were in a section of the theatre which, while nominally assigned to tenors, had been invaded by all manner of riff-raff with the result that we weren't close to what we really needed; a tenor with a clue. We did OK on the easier choruses I think but we definitely totally lost the thread a few times. Maybe I should practice next time.

If you can recruit a few more tenors you can have a dinner and practice the night before the concert. Maybe some of the Nomads are tenors (what a scary thought)
