Cooking again

I decided to do some cooking again yesterday. I wanted to fix a Thai meal with minimal reference to recipe books. This is what i ended up with:

Red curry of Chinese eggplant, fish balls and shrimp
Green papaya salad
Long beans stir-fried with pork and roasted chilli paste
Omelette and pork ball soup
Steamed rice

The soup was especially good, chicken stock flavored with oyster sauce with slices of onion/shallot omelette and peppery pork meat balls in it.

My ego was well stroked by lemur_catta's comment that she didn't think she'd ever be able to eat in a Thai restaurant in Toronto again.

And lots left over for the freezer.
