Which opera best suits you

The Metropolitan Opera has a quiz to help you figure out what kind of opera you might like. It's funny in a memeish sort of way without apparently having been written by an American high school student.

Depending which way I swing on a couple of questions I score as Madam Butterfly or Lucia di Lammermoor.

I got Don Giovanni with Tristan und Isolde as a second option.

Of course, I don't know how accurate that is - although I do have a strong attraction to the Liebstode (?) from T&I.

Heh, that was fun! I should post about that later. I got 'La Sonnambula', with a note that I might also be interested in 'Madama Butterfly'.

Hmmmm....I come out as Madam Butterfly, too, even though I'd consider myself more of a Russalka kinda girl.

Queen of Spades or Lucia di Lammermoor. I'm not overly fond of the second, but I've always wanted to know more about the first. It's certainly a change from my usual default preference of Cavalleria Rusticana/Pagliacci.

Hmmm, Don Giovanni with Tristan und Isolde as a backup. Having seen neither I'm not sure but I suppose they should be worth a shot.

Lucia di Lammermoor with Queen of Spades as possible back up.

This is seriously broken. I also get those two. And "Queen of Spades," when I have such a hard time stomaching anything Tchaikovsky.
