It really amazes me that Canada has done multiculturalism as well as it has. I remember a conversation with a 65-year-old guy in my old choir, who'd grown up in Kitchener (when it was small and either Anglo or German), and him talking about all of the changes that had happened, and how he had liked the old one, and, well, he liked the new one, too. (Then again, our first insurance agent ranted about women in hijabs, so we changed insurance providers at the first opportunity...)
