Yesterday I wrote a piece on my opera blog about the labour negotiation situation at New York's Metropolitan Opera.  It's now gone well over 2000 hits  and is running around 600/hr this morning with no sign of slowing down.  It just passed my previous all time most popular post; a review of Maria Ewing's somewhat notorious Salome that had been steadily garnering traffic since December 2011.
