John Graham, prince of puzzlers, aka Araucaria of the Guardian has died. Few people have given me so much pleasure for so many years. He'll be missed.

I just heard, and rushed here to see if you knew. I've rarely had time for the crossword in recent years, though I liked to catch up with his Christmas specials, but I loved his work, and always felt he was the compiler on my wavelength.
