Smog alert!

Smog alert - no kidding! I can just about stand running in the heat and humidity but it becomes near impossible when crud exceeds oxygen in the atmosphere. That was just horrible.

ETA: Half an hour later and my lungs feel like I've just smoked a pack of really nasty cigs.

Santiago, one of the most smog infested cities on the planet is bidding for the 2014 Winter Olympics. And LA is rumoured to be trying again for 2016 Summer Games. I just don't get it.
