Humiliation: The Movie - It's poll time

So we come to the voting stage of Humiliation: The Movie. I'm not entirely convinced that all the nominations are entirely in the humiliation spirit but despite some chuntering from [livejournal.com profile] lemur_catta I decided to be non-interventionist. So under the cut, E&OE, is the full list. If I've misattributed let me know but I probably won't actually edit the poll as they are fixed once posted.

So all you have to do now is open the cut and check the movies you've seen all the way through.

Cut off for voting is 1800 EDT Wednesday 14 September.

[Poll #569305]

For the record, I have voted. That's right: I could have picked any one of those, as I haven't seen a single damn one. Now that's humiliation!

Be not too distressed. When I was a callow youth like you I hadn't seen many of them either.

That is sooo impressive!

I was wondering, though. We are talking about the real Psycho with Tony Perkins and Janet Leigh, right?
Because if it's the remake, I haven't seen it and mis-voted.

I didn't check but I assume that the original was intended.

I wish I'd got my The Sound of Music nomination in early enough (that's what you get for being away all weekend though, I guess). Ho hum.

I've never seen that, either. :-)

I couldn't think of anything to add to this list. There are plenty of movies I haven't seen that everyone else has (Ghostbusters springs to mind) but I don't feel ashamed at never having seen them. :-)

Popularity alone isn't enough. I feel no shame at not having seen Rocky 27 - The Bank Manager Strikes back.

Just voted and was confirmed in the view that I am hopelessly ignorant about films as there are loads I haven't seen. Had originally thought of Gone With the Wind but [livejournal.com profile] lunar_affinity got there first. Actually now I think of it 'Withnail and I' would possibly be the greater humiliation...

That would be an interesting choice which would have got at least two votes. I confess there are a few films taht i have seen that I would be curious to see how many votes they got. Le Declin de l'Empire Americain and Les Invasions Barbares would top that list.

Well, no votes from me.

I must now stop watching/listening to the BBC's bits of interviews with the Ashes players, and re-reading scoresheets on Cricinfo and go to bed - thinking of going to Trafalgar Square tomorrow...

Quebec has produced some great fims but they don't get the distribution they need to be famous and stuff.

Ah, then you might be the person requiring this information (http://www.livejournal.com/users/kalypso_v/45796.html).

Oh, thanks very much! Think I'll try at catch them at Aldwych.

Perhaps the Australians could have a bus ride too. Say from the Old Bailey via Temple Bar to Hyde Park Corner though come to think of it Kennington Common was fairly appropriate.

There are some listed that I am ASHAMED to admit to having seen from start to finish.

Yes, there were points were the lemur had to be restrained.
