chickenfeet | Small earthquake in Ottawa, no Scotsmen killed

Earthquakes do happen in Ottawa. When I lived there we had one big enough to shake pictures off the wall.

That is really quite big. We had one in Warwickshire about five years ago, but it didn't even wake me up.

The one in Ottawa didn't wake me up either! I've actually slept through several earthquakes.

lemur_catta of course is the real earthquake expert as one might expect from a Californicator. She was in SF during the last big one.

Californians sneer at anything we might produce seismically in Britain. And, know what? I'm not too upset to keep it that way.
