I particularly liked the 'Ming (or Maoist)...' one. I was convinced it was an anagram, and it took ages to get it.

I realised it wasn't an anagram even before I got "sugars the pill" because that was almost sure to have "the" in it. I spotted the m's but it took me for ever to realise the significance.
