wow, somehow I had nothing to tick off here! In Southeast Asia I ate sparrow and cobra, but I missed my chance at eating a grilled rat. (I was all up for it, but the day we found the rat-on-a-stick in a Lao market, I had some GI distress from handling the raw wild boar meat we fed to a tiger.)
Well, where I live, bison is regularly available at supermarkets and restaurants, and it's raised for slaughter. Plus, it's far healthier han beef, from what I hear. Plus it's yummy. Also where I live, many people hunt. Ergo the moose. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it again, though. Too gamey, even for me.
I didn't include boar as I didn't really feel that a quasi wild pig raised on a farm in Quebec was all that exotic. Mind, the same could also be said for bison.
I don't think there is anything shameful about not having eaten kangaroo. In fact, if you ate a Bird's Eye or Wall's meat pie in the late 70s, you probably have.
