Hateful word of the day

Can I just say that the word 'ontologizing' is vile and disgusting? It's bad enough that the IT world has hijacked 'ontology' to mean a controlled vocabulary crossed with an entity relationship diagram but to turn it into a verb is beyond unspeakable.

Indeed! Although to be fair my shirt number stared at 2 in 1968 and has only gone back that low on comparatively rare occasions
