Fifth anniversary post

Five years to the day after I made my first LJ post about struggling with my weight and fitness in the face of a niggling ankle injury I went for a very unsatisfactory run with a sore ankle.

It's chronic. I've seen one of the top orthopods in the province and he says there is nothing he can do. So it's a question of managing the pain and swelling while continuing to do as much as I can. It's rather frustrating.
