Thanksgiving dinner

OK it was wasn't canonical (for some value of matches advice in 1950s women's magazines) but it was rather good. We had:

Roast pork leg with crackling (pig from the Hungarian Pig Guys)
Sauerkraut cooked with onion, apple and white wine
Lemony roast potatoes
Baked russet apples
Brussels sprouts

... and a very decent bottle of Alsatian Gewurztraminer.

Nyom! I do like a spot of Gewurztraminer, and find it goes very well with pork-and-fruit recipes.

'Hungarian pig guys' keeps making me think of American Gods

What is the menu for a traditional Canadian Thanksgiving dinner?

Turkey with cranberry sauce, brown gravy and a variety of mashed things on a colour spectrum from white through beige to orangey. Potatoes and turnips (mashed) are mandatory. I've never quite grasped why the turkey is not mashed too.

Sounds delicious!
Happy Thanksgiving!
I had the traditional turkey, but the colours of the veggies were quite varied: white (mashed potato) green (asparagus and brussels sprouts..yes, green, not grey) orange (carrots) and yellow (corn)....I think we covered most of the food colours available.
Oh, and red for the cranberries in the stuffing.
