Everyone should have a straight lemur
Overheard in our kitchen yesterday:
Lemur: If we let the daube get cold it will gel and we can embed a kitten in it and have kitten in aspic.
Me: Yes, but only a small kitten.
Lemur: Why?
Me: Because a big one would upset the aspic ratio.
Boom! Boom!

Ours was yesterday while walking through a shopping mall on the way to the movie theater. We passed an "accessories" shop with a number of very ugly purses in the window.
Belovedary: Wow, those are so ugly they should be against the law.
Me: Clearly, criminal accessories.
