I don't know if this comment was meant somewhat sarcastically, and I apologize if I insulted you by calling your cat's fur peculiar (to me, peculiar does not equal bad or weird by the way). As I said in my comment, I don't know much about cats, so please forgive my ignorance of cat breeds or their colouring.

It wasn't meant as sarcasm nor was I in the least offended. It was purely a factual statement that Leela looks like a rosetted Bengal, as she should. They are not an especially common breed. Many people have never seen one and she often draws admiring remarks.
