I got a couple of hours XC in at hardwood Hills today. It should have been fabulous; -5C and lots of snow. In fact there was just too much snow both freshly fallen and still falling with the result that the trails were very slow and I had problems with snow build up. There is nothing worse than launching into a downhill section and having one ski work just fine and the other stick every few feet. That said, I thinking I was skiing better than last weekend; more relaxed and in control.

The drive back was seriously nasty with heavy snow and much blowing snow until south of Cookstown.
