Cat status

I think my status in the cat world is going up. Padmini often grooms my arm or leg (furry enough for any cat!) but yesterday while I was dozing she groomed my head rather vigorously. This is a mark of great respect and affection in the cat world so I am really rather flattered.

Black Pudding

I struck paydirt in the black pudding stakes yesterday. Carneria Azadar (at least I think that's what its called, anyway across the street from Jumbo Empanadas) has really good morcilla as well as excellent chorizo (maybe a dozen varieties) and very good empanadas.
