Foster kittens
Aug. 5th, 2003 12:34 pmWe brought two three week old kittens home from the Humane Society yesterday. They are part of a litter of six that came in from God-knows-where a couple of days ago. We are going to look after them until they are big enough to go for adoption in maybe five weeks time.
I just finished giving them their noon feed. I got about 10ml of KMR into each of them which isn't too bad. They are both boys. One seems perfectly healthy, the other a little bedraggled and undernourished but we are managing to get him to eat more now and with a bit of luck he will be fine.
We are keeping the Bengals out of the room where the kittens are caged but they are very curious and spend a lot of time sniffing at the door. We hope to be able to let them play together in another couple of weeks or so.
