RWC so far
Oct. 12th, 2003 10:52 amWell no real surprises of course. All the first few games have gone pretty much as expected. Thoughts so far:
England and New Zealand both looked very good in their openers.
South Africa and Australia looked a bit shaky to me.
Wales and Scotland were both dreadful against weak opposition.
Canada were every bit as awful as I predicted. We have gone backwards so far since 1995 it is really pathetic.
Georgia looked surprisingly good despite being dismantled by England.
I didn't see the France or Ireland games.
No reason to change my predictions at this stage; England to beat New Zealand in the final.
