Today's useless trivia

This morning while curled up on the sofa with Padmini watching the Argentina/Rumania game I learned that the Pope played rugby for Poland. Less interestingly, but very slightly more relevant to today's game, my son played on the same U12 side as the grandson of the President of the Rumanian Rugby Federation.

Getting there

I am definitely getting fitter. Monday I ran 6km at a respectable pace and today I ran my regular 'short course' (about 4km) faster than I have done since I tore up the ankle. Better yet, it felt good. I felt like an athlete again instead of an overweight middle aged slob.
