So that pretty much sets us up for a week of the Aussies alternately blowing hard and whingeing as only they can.

Sod Santa!

Just got back from taking lemur_catta to her circus arts class which, on a Sunday, should be 15 minutes away. It took two hours less a 15 minute stop. All because of the $%^&* Santa Claus parade.

There seems to be a convention in Toronto that it is OK to snarl up the downtown all day Sunday for whatever daft event they can think of. Why don't they do these things in Rosedale and Forest Hill where the rich folks live?

Das Boot

It just occurred to me that I recorded this morning's Froggerdämmerung over the top of a redundant copy of Das Boot. Come to think of it, that wouldn't be a bad moniker for Herr Wilkinson.

And in other news

I just ran 10k for the first time since injuring my ankle and I feel great! No pain, full of energy and I enjoyed the run even if if it was a bit cold by the time I finished. I see a lean mean 200# tackling machine by the start of next rugby season.

And this on top of being up at 0330 to watch the game.
