An odd sort of day

I spent the morning alternately goofing on LJ etc and making more or less serious phone calls to try and establish the validity or otherwise of the rumoured restructuring of health care in Ontario. More on that when it's less sickrit. Unlike Messrs Bush and Cheney, I prefer not to compromise my intelligence sources for no good reason.

Later, lemur_catta and I went in search of the Harbourfront Antiques Market but it has disappeared or been absorbed into the latest Queen's Quay condo development or something. Returning vis Front Street we ran into an absolutely torrential downpour. Common sense indicated running for cover to the nearest appropriate hostelry, C'est What. Fortified with ale and apple pie, we emerged into bright sunshine and returned home for a nap.
