2004 will be the first calendar year for over twenty that I will have spent entirely in one country. In fact I think I will only have spent two or three nights away from home. For a former globe-trotter like myself this is truly remarkable. However, 0830 Jan 1st, 2005 will see me on a plane bound to San Francisco and, ultimately, Thailand.
