That was one of the more physical (and enjoyable) games I've played in in a while. The rain was a big improvement on the reflector oven that has been southern Ontario these last few weeks though it did tend to make for a less expansive style of rugby. I can't remember when I last carried the ball on so many pick and gos. Lots of fairly ferocious rucking and mauling too. Also, my first try for too long. Classic flanker support line with a bit to do from 10m out but I'll back myself to go through, under or over one cover defender from that distance in the wet anytime. Bit of a nasty graze around my left eye, otherwise just routinely battered.
