The regular season ends
Sep. 25th, 2005 07:54 amIt appears that although Yeomen beat Stoney Creek yesterday they didn't manage a bonus point. The only unexpected thing about the Nomads 95-5 win over Highland was that the opposition showed up having scratched their previous two games. The upshot of all that is that Nomads win the division by one point and will play in the top, Marshall, division next year. Yea!
The draw for the McCormick cup looks a bit unfortunate though. Our first round tie will be against the losers of the Marshall division (Markham or Saracens depending on yesterday's results) but if we win that game (which we should) then we get the winner of the Marshall (either Irish or Crusaders) in the second round which will surely be too much.
