1. What exactly does a "management consultant" do?

Good question. Basically I solve other people's business problems. A cancer control agency wants to know what IT it should invest in. A company wants to know what product/market areas it should be targetting. That sort of thing.

2. What was your worst scare while rock climbing?

One day I was leading a route in the Llanberis Pass. I was a long way off my l;ast runner. My foot slipped and I cranked the only one arm pull up of my entire life.

3. What's your favorite thing to cook, and why?

It varies over time. Right now I'm still enjoying refining my Thai skills. I really want to get to know the ingredients, techniques and flavour combos better.

4. How did you meet your partner?

On the internet. How lame is that?

5. Do you have a favorite of your cats? Why or why not?

I love all three. Jane is a bit special though because she is so bonded to me. It's hard not to reciprocate.
