Coaching last night

We picked a team for Saturday's game against the Yeomen. We had to get some forwards to volunteer to play in the backs and then I, expert on back play that I am, got the job of trying to get them to perform like a back line. This is roughly akin to getting a hippo to coach a number of fellow hippos in ballet skills. In the circumstances we weren't too awful really. At least we have a team and a little bit of bench strength which was far from certain a week ago. Now we must beat the Yeomen. There are few things I hate more than losing to them!

So nominations are in and the voting begins. The list of nominees is long so I have trimmed some that I think very few people will have had a chance to see. In view of the length of the list I think we can allow up to three picks per voter. A 'play off' round may be necessary methinks.
