New speakers

 One of the incidental changes in Kitten Kondo 2.0 is that I decided it was time to upgrade the front left and right speakers in the home theatre set up.  I'd been using a pair of Monitor Audio MA5s that I bought in the summer of 1976 and which have served nobly on both sides of the Atlantic through, at least, seven moves.  They still sounded pretty good but they were bulky and rather beaten up.  So, I bought a pair of B&W 683 S2s.  It made sense.  All the other speakers in the set up are B&W.  I've got a 5.1 set up going right now though I will add a rear centre channel when we get a cabling problem fixed (next week probably).  It sounds amazing.  The improvement is bigger than I expected and dense orchestral music just comes to life now.

In other news we now have glass doors on the bath tub and all our stuff that was in the storage locker has been retrieved, sorted, stored, dumped or returned to the unit.  What was almost bulging at the seams is now maybe 30% full.  Decluttering is good.  We also have a plan and quote for blinds.
