lemur_catta, cassandre and her partner M. I had a most enjoyable time as we ate our way through a pretty decent selection of dim sum and chatted about all kinds of stuff. Certainly it was the first time I had discussed Marx' Labour theory of Value in quite a while. A pleasant walk back to their hotel via the Kensington Market followed though I think our guests were somewhat surprised when a bunch of guys who were fishing out of a second floor window started shouting at me. Less of a surprise to me seeing as it was a bunch of nomads who had successfully prolonged Saturday night into Sunday afternoon.
On the way home we stopped by HMV and I scored the new Isobel Bayrakdarian CD of arias from four baroque operas about Cleopatra. It's really quite excellent so any opera fans out there run out and buy it!
