Toronto has wasted so much frigging money bidding for the Olympics it's just not funny. If we got them we would lose money on a Montreal scale. The lobby for the Olympics is largely made up of bent property developers who see a chance to get their hands on the port lands cheap.
I live a stone's throw from the potential main Olympic site and I don't want a damn thing to do with it.
