I'd like to dedicate this meme result to my next door neighbour during my first year at Collingwood, the lovely and talented Christine Papa, née Whittemore, Her first words on entering the study bedroom of her callow mathematician neighbour were a rather astonished "So you read books!".

Well-Read Indeed!
Take that, Mrs. McGreevey!
You scored 185 of 290!

Wow! OK, some of those were really tricky--but you made it through! Not
only would you pass most lit courses, you probably thought about being
an English major. Actually, with those numbers, you might be a grad
student! Have you given any thought to a PhD? You know they confer
omniscience with those, right?

Then on the margin of the world I sit and think
'til Love and Fame to nothingness do shrink.

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:

I didn't know you were a mathematician. I was English and Math as an undergrad, but I have clearly gone over to the dark side to do a lit. Ph.D.

Collingwood? Do you mean the prep school down the road from us in Surrey, where all the posh little boys used to go?

No! Collingwood College, Durham. Which, a cricket expert like you should know produced the only opening pair to score 300 in a first class match for a university side.

Heh. I scored 175 out of 290, and I (a) never took any English lit courses whatsoever, (b) guessed a lot. I guess I'm lucky today...
