I've got an hour to kill before going to collect
lemur_catta from Pearson so I thought I'd do this:
Gakked from
gillo...
Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five icons, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five icons, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List each one in your LJ, and tell everyone exactly why you have it, why it's interesting to you, what significance it has....

That's Padmini with a coronet. It dates from the time I was playing in the Nation States RPG and Padmini was the monarch of one of the countries I was running.

The photo was taken at the first Mooseman regional burn and is of the outfit that got me dubbed 'Chickenfeet'.

From The Seventh Seal of course, which is probably my favourite movie. It's also been used as a Christmas icon with Death wearing a Santa hat.

An old Soviet propaganda poster used mainly for political rants.

I just love the image. It comes in handy for my many injury related posts.

Lady Jane Grey Kitten and Shakespeare. What could be better. I made this one for
frankie_ecap but decided to use it myself too.

This is one of the Derain pochoir illustrations to Wilde's Salomé, produced by the Limited Editions Club in 1938. Mostly used for book related posts.

The graphic , which of course, illustrates the effect on the structure of spacetime of a massive object, was nicked from Patricia Schwarz at Cal Tech. The 'doh!' is a not very good pun.

This is a detail from the T-shirt that an airline and security at La Guardia objected to so strongly that they forced the wearer to put on a different shirt before they would allow him to board his flight. It's perfect for posts about how the Bush-Blair imperial axis is stripping us of our freedoms and rights in its spurious fight against bogeymen under the bed.
