I am humiliated to admit that I have only just finished reading Jane Eyre for the first time and I am well on my way to 40 years old. And I blooming well loved it.
However, I have not read any of the following:
Catch-22 Moby Dick A Clockwork Orange Anything by Charles Dickens, except A Tale of Two Cities Anything by George Eliot, Thakeray, D H Lawrence, James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, Iris Murdoch or Joseph Conrad The Catcher in the Rye (at least, I don't think so)
I promise you, though, I am really well and widely read!!
