I didn't think i would be this busy when I started refereeing. I know there is a shortage of refs but I'm still surprised by the demand. Tomorrow night I'm reffing the Nomads vs Ammansford RFC, a touring side from the valleys above Llanelli. The club was founded in 1887 which makes us look like babies despite being a founder club of the ORU.

ETA: No I'm not They found someone more experienced. Good!

It is a stark difference to Australia. Here a shortage of refs (and apparently it is a problem) means that the U9s don't get a ref and I get promoted to U10s. Hehehe. On the other hand, I don't have to drive 75 miles to Cobourg to get to my games.
