Things done recently:

Pretty much all the necessary plumbing work.
All the studs and reinforcement for the dry wall. Includes double studs and 3/4" plywood where the wall will be load bearing.
Bath tub installed.
Tiles for kitchen and bathroom bought.
Bathroom vanity bought.
Refrigerator and stove hood bought.
Cabinetry designs finalised and orders placed.
Heating solution finalized.
Sinks for small bathroom and kitchen purchased.

Up next:

Electrical including new outlets, lighting and ceiling fans.
Selection of flooring for living/dining/bed rooms.
Selection of granite for counter tops.
Selection of taps for kitchen and small bathroom.
Purchase of toilets (exciting!)

And in related upgrade news the lemur has bought a Japanese wood cabinet for "stuff" and I have replaced the front L and R speakers in the home theatre set up. This last partially because I wanted to save a few inches of width but mainly because the existing ones are a bit battered. I can hardly complain about that. I bought them in the summer of 1976 and they have been in pretty much constant use since and still sound great. For the record they are Monitor Audio MA5 mk2s and if anyone can find a good home for them they are welcome to pick them up! The new speakers are Bower and Wilkins 683s largely because the other five speakers in the set up are B&W 600 series.

Really looking forward to being back in our own space.
