 Yesterday I got an email announcing the dates for an upcoming opera run that I had heard about informally on the weekend.  FWIW it's Britten's Rape of Lucretia and I really must see it.  I like to go on opening night because that way people can see a review soonest and maybe, just maybe, it helps sell tickets.  Opening night is April 17th next year.  So off I go to iCal to stick it in my schedule.  I found that I'm already booked that night!
