 If I understand these things correctly the remaining British cabinet papers from 1940 are due for release into the public domain on Jan 1st.  Lots of interesting issues related to who offered what to whom with whose tacit or explicit consent during that difficult summer.  Is there though some means to continue to keep them secret?  If not, among issues of greater import, we may see the FO's admission that the UK's claim to the Falklands was specious.
