chickenfeetI have been researching pens and ink recently. I have never given much thought to ink but my researches suggested that different brands affected the performance of pens rather drastically. Today I put it to the test. Up ntil now I have pretty much stuck to Parker inks, either the long running Quink or the much reviled Penman. Today i splashed out on a bottle of Pelikan black and a bottle of each of Private Reserve Tanzanite Purple and Midnight Blue.
The colours are amazingly vibrant but most astonishing, my italic nibbed Parker, which had gone scratchy enough using Parker ink to have me thinking of ditching it, is smooth as silk with the PR Midnight Blue in it.
