There has been a winter storm warning in effect here for the last 24 hours. Last night and today we were supposed to get shed loads of snow and blizzard like conditions. Thus far it really hasn't materialized. This annoys me. I live downtown and anyway i am working at home today so I have been deprived of an opportunity to feel smugly more fortunate than the tens of thousands of commuters who, by rights, should be stuck on the Don Valley Skating Rink or stranded on a GO train but who aren't. Bah!

Really? On the news this morning they were saying this is the most snow we've had since 99, when Mel called in the army. I guess we're not getting it downtown.

There was a ton of snow in the forecast for last night but there doesn't seem to be any more on the ground here than when I got home yeserday. The Gardner is clear and moving normally.
