chickenfeetOr in my case a movie set because I live on one. Today there are several yellow NYC cabs parked in front of our building and film persons all over the place. At least we don't have a bunch of SUVs with bullet holes in them. It has happened.
Our neighbourhood and the nearby Distillery District are favoured locations for fake NY and fake Chicago or even, on occasions, fake LA (which is why you can see the CN Tower in the closing shots of Leaving LA.
