Furries

Some things in life really, really matter and, for me, two of them are my furry friends Leela and Padmini. They are both Bengals. Leela is leopard rosetted and Pad is a marble. Leela is Pad's mother with the result that pad was born in our closet. She was an only kitten and premature. We didn't think she would make it the lemur hand fed her for three says and nights and now we have two of the most gorgeous, friendly, playful cats on the planet. Padmini is still a small cat but she purrs like a buzz saw and can walk on her hind legs. She also has a habit of jumping up on my shoulders or head from behind, which is fine as long as she doesn't slip and stick her claws out.

Bengals are bred to look wild. The breed was created by crossing a domestic with a wild Asian Leopard Cat and such foundation cats are bred back into the bloodlines from time to time.
