More market goodness
Dec. 13th, 2003 12:28 pmAnother heavy duty buying trip to the St. Lawrence market. Today's swag included a five pound slab of Hungarian bacon, a cured pork loin (rather like Bayonne ham but a quarter of the price!), hot, smoked, Hungarian sausage, an octopus, Boerewors, duck sausage and assorted local veggies.
Amusing conversations with Hungarian butcher and with a rather shocked looking lady who wanted to know how I was going to cook the octopus.
