Anatomy of pain
Apr. 18th, 2004 04:47 pmDespite the thunderstorms earlier in the day we managed to get a game in this afternoon. It was of course exceedingly muddy and ball handling was pretty poor all up. I am now fairly banged up. Not sure exactly how any of it happened but I have:
Taken the skin off my knee again (inevitable)
Sprained a finger on my left hand
Done something to my right shoulder (I think I got dumped on it in a tackle)
A sore back. Too many scrums and playing 2nd row again.
The game had its moments though. I really like it when I have two guys who are 6'4" lifting me in line outs. Its a pretty awesome feeling. Maybe one day soon I'll get to play in position though. In four games so far this year I have flanked for only half a game.
