The mystery cod
May. 30th, 2006 04:02 pmSo, in case anyone's interested in the fate of the mystery fish from Sunday this is what i did with it..
I strifried a curry paste (fresh and dried red chillis, galangal, shallot, garlic, lemongrass, pepper, cumin, coriander, citrus peel) in coconut cream, added the fish cut in chunks, fried it for a bit, seasoned with fish sauce and palm sugar, added shredded krachai and slivered kaffir lime leaves and finally a cup or so of Thai basil leaves and flower buds.
It was very hot and pungent. We ate it with lots of rice and raw veggies as well as some long beans stirfried with pork and roasted chilli paste.

May. 30th, 2006 06:06 pmWe all hate corporate 'motivational' posters and even the excellent products of despair.com are only a partial answer. Now, via
gillo, I bring you your very own motivational poster generator.
