Oh so very tired
Sep. 24th, 2006 04:44 pmPlayed in a 10 a side tournament today. I played 4, 20 minute matches. I got some time off in the first two but as, inevitably, injuries took their toll, substitutes got scarcer and i played the last two games without a break. Worse, I played the last one in the centre where I am severely clue challenged.
I got dumped hard on my shoulder a couple of times and generally took a lot of contact with no ill effects. I think it's fair to say the shoulder is pretty much as good as it was before and any issues I might have at this point are psychological. I need to get my tackling (always a bit of a weak spot) back up to snuff and I need to get fitter. Otherwise I don't really think I've got too much to complain about.
