Happy bear
Jul. 24th, 2004 05:41 pmIn which the bear is sociable (with people even) and enjoys himself.
lemur_catta and I played tour guide to the St. Lawrence Market this morning for
owlfish.
owlfish's SO, Colin, and
double0hilly who were all quite delightful. After much buying of cheese, charcuterie, fruit and other delights we grabbed a couple of bottles of wine from our place (much squeeing over the bengals) and headed out for an impromptu picnic. I think we may have have dispelled Colin's doubts about the existence of edible sausages in Toronto but we were only able to commiserate each other over the lamentable lack of black pudding.
The afternoon was spent at the Distillery failing to hunt down alleged circus performances but what the heck. I enjoyed it.
