In which the bear is sociable (with people even) and enjoys himself.

[livejournal.com profile] lemur_catta and I played tour guide to the St. Lawrence Market this morning for [livejournal.com profile] owlfish. [livejournal.com profile] owlfish's SO, Colin, and [livejournal.com profile] double0hilly who were all quite delightful. After much buying of cheese, charcuterie, fruit and other delights we grabbed a couple of bottles of wine from our place (much squeeing over the bengals) and headed out for an impromptu picnic. I think we may have have dispelled Colin's doubts about the existence of edible sausages in Toronto but we were only able to commiserate each other over the lamentable lack of black pudding.

The afternoon was spent at the Distillery failing to hunt down alleged circus performances but what the heck. I enjoyed it.

So was I when I started ;) Actually the class is great for all levels because there are always ways to adapt the exercises to make them easier or harder and to pace yourself. Plenty of people in the class cant do pullups without a spotter supporting some of their weight , and it isn't just circus people, some people just come one night a week for the conditioning class `cause it's more fun than an ordinary gym.

Thank you for the wonderful tour! We'll be going back to the St. Lawrence market in the near future, all oriented. It was good to meet both of you as well.

Charming cats.

That's odd... we went to the distillery last night and had to beat the circus performers off with a stick!

We seemed to hit some kind of hiatus.
