Sep. 14th, 2004 08:44 pmFollowing tonight's appointment at Mt. Sinai, I now have a patient card for all four of Toronto's adult generalist teaching hospitals.
As to the appointment, I spent two and three quarter hours being poked, prodded, X-rayed and hanging around (mostly the last). The good news is that I have an appointment (finally) to see an orthopaedic surgeon in two weeks time. The less good news is that it still appears that the problem is largely arthritis. So if I want to stay active I'm going to have to cope with the pain. The physio did give me some strategies for ameliorating the situation and I'll just see how it goes.
