The boys done good
Sep. 18th, 2004 05:40 pmNomads 44 Toronto Scottish 12
So despite all the trash talking and the temporary import of two Kiwi semi-pros the Scottish go down to defeat. I think they still lead the division owing to having garnered more bonus points than us but that will be fairly irrelevant come play off time. The situation is pretty confused right now with York having been thrown out of the league and rumours that Windsor will choose to drop down to the NRU but it looks reasonably possible that both Nomads and the Scottish will move up to the ORU next season.
In other Ontario rugby news the Toronto Saracens clinched promotion to the Marshall division with a win over Burlington.

Date: 2004-09-18 08:42 pm (UTC)Oh well, if winning is so important to the Toronto Scottish that they'll break the rules good and hard without worrying about any consequences, what can you do? I hope that the relevant authorities are made aware and remove points/impose fines.
