We were (more likely, I was) talking about co-ordinate systems and how people visualize non visual things and I was explaining a picture I have had in my mind, since university, of Hilbert Space. The lovely lemur's response was "how would you furnish it?"
My reply, "From IKEA, we would need something functional".
